Athadak Game
Athadak is a dual-format trivia game that blends the excitement of digital 1v1 challenges with the fun of traditional group board games. Designed for competitive knowledge-based play, the platform includes a mobile app for real-time trivia battles and a physical board version for face-to-face gameplay. Developed by Sprint using the Agile methodology, Athadak was built to deliver a seamless, scalable, and entertaining user experience with high replay value.
How Did We Develop Athadak Using the Agile Approach?
Phase 1 – Game Design and Question Engine
We started by building the foundation of the trivia experience:
- Developed a dynamic question system with support for categories, difficulty levels, and multimedia formats.
- Designed the logic for 1v1 gameplay, including timing rules, score calculations, and win conditions.
- Created the admin panel to manage questions, track games, and monitor player activity.
Phase 2 – Mobile Game Experience and Player Profiles
Next, we focused on the user-facing experience:
- Built a mobile app that allows users to sign up, challenge friends or random opponents, and play real-time trivia matches.
- Added user profiles, avatars, and level-based progression to enhance engagement.
- Introduced leaderboards and achievements to drive competition.
Phase 3 – Purchases, Points System, and Settings
To support monetization and scalability:
- Integrated an in-app purchase system for coins, power-ups, and access to premium questions.
- Developed a configurable game economy through a centralized settings module for adjusting point values, conversion rates, and more.
- Added a CMS to manage FAQs, policies, and game-related content dynamically.
The Final Outcome
Athadak successfully merged entertainment with intellectual challenge, providing a fun, competitive platform for users across digital and physical formats. With a robust admin panel, dynamic question bank, and customizable gameplay mechanics, the product is built for growth and future expansion into tournaments, seasonal modes, and user-generated questions.
